We simply cannot say enough good things about this tone monster to truly do it justice! The solid ash body in this 1978 Fender USA Telecaster Standard (9.9 lbs.), combined with the stock 70s pickups have the quintessential Tele shimmer. If you've been looking for that classic Fender sound, look no further! We just went over the entire guitar, gave it a thorough cleaning and inspection & set it up with D'Addario NYXL 10s. Please take a good look at all of the photos to verify cosmetic condition. According to the widow of its former owner, this Tele was purchased new in '78 and was always owned by her husband. Judging by the wear on the case and body, we'd be willing to bet it was his go to axe. Surprisingly, the frets are still in great shape and there's no evidence of delamination on the fingerboard. You may notice the serial number in the neck pocket is slightly different than the one on the headstock. We've seen this inconsistency on other CBS era guitars and have every reason to believe this neck and body have always been together. Shipping to the continental US is $45.
